Welcome to Maple Meadows Farm

Established 1830

Family Farm

When I was 10, my parents purchased the farm from Mary and Arthur Beam. It was a little bit of heaven for a horse crazy girl.  Fate would have it that after 30 yrs my husband and I purchased it from my parents. We have raised crops, pets and lots of pumpkins and flowers, but our kids have been our favourite.

Our Barn Booking 2019-2020

We started with a beautiful rustic green space approx. 2 acres  but our  5000 sq ft. barn is now getting a face lift with rustic brown barn boards and a bathroom. The gardens and fields make lovely backdrops for photos, rescue horses and a little donkey named Gus are happy to greet your guests and the shady lawn is perfect for guest to enjoy a few games or cocktails.

Our couples say:

"Our wedding day, and the months leading up to it, could not have gone any smoother - thanks to Laurie and Brian! They exceeded our expectations! We had the most perfect day on their gorgeous property!"

" Everything went so smoothly and we couldn't have asked for any better location to marry each other. It was beyond perfect!!!!!! Thank you again!! It will be a day we will remember forever!!! "

Coming Spring 2019

Barn Weddings

We are excited to announce that given the resounding success of our tent weddings in the past four years we are now in the process of restoring our 5000 sq ft. century barn for events beginning Spring 2019. Our event season for the completed barn will begin May 31st, through until October 31st.

The barn built in the 1830's is now under renovations and will offer 5000 sq ft of "original post and beam" construction. We have already secured our city zoning and have a wonderful engineer to work with for the restoration. With a truly remarkable barn, Maple Meadows will offer ready rooms for both his and hers, a "loft" mezzanine, bathrooms, tables and chairs, lighting, portable bar and lots of props if needed free of charge for DIY decor.

We have a beautiful rustic green space approx. 2 acres that is presently being used for ceremonies and tented weddings. It is bordered by huge maple trees with a gorgeous view over the pasture. Our barns, gardens and fields make lovely backdrops for photos, rescue horses and a little donkey named Gus are happy to greet your guests and the shady lawn is perfect for guest to enjoy a few games or cocktails.

Catering is open for your choice and you are welcome to bring in your own alcohol with a Special Occasion Permit (LCBO online).

A list of wonderful local companies that specialize in event/wedding, catering, music etc. is available if needed or as a certified wedding planner I would be happy to help arrange some of the details for you.
